Sealing integrity test method and test apparatus for celine bottles

Sterile cillin bottles are a common form of pharmaceutical packaging material in medical clinics, and if a leak occurs in a sterile cillin bottle, then the medicine is sure to receive the effects.

There are two reasons for the leakage of the seal of the cillin bottle.

1. Problems with the bottle itself, cracks, bubbles and microporosity in the glass bottle during processing and transportation.

2. Leakage caused by problems with the rubber stopper itself, which is less common, but also exists in actual production.

Principle of operation.

By evacuating the measuring chamber to a target pressure, a differential pressure environment is created between the packaging and the measuring chamber. In this environment, gas escapes through the tiny leakages in the packaging and fills the measuring chamber, resulting in a rise in pressure within the measuring chamber, which can be calculated using the known differential pressure, time interval and the rise in pressure.

Test method

1. Place the specimen of celine bottle to be tested in the water in the vacuum chamber of the celine bottle seal integrity tester.

2. Apply a layer of water to the seal around the seal tester and close the seal cap to prevent leakage during the test.

3. set the test parameters such as test vacuum, vacuum holding time, etc. and gently press the test button to start the test.

4. during the process of vacuuming or pressure holding of the equipment, carefully observe whether there are continuous bubbles around the cap of the syringe bottle, if there are continuous bubbles, immediately press the stop button lightly, the equipment stops vacuuming and displays the pressure value of the specimen when air leakage occurs, if there are no continuous bubbles in the specimen and no water has seeped into the sample, the sample has a good seal.

Testing instrument

The MK-1000 non-destructive leak tester, also known as vacuum decay tester, is a non-destructive test method, also known as vacuum decay method, which is professionally applied to the micro-leakage detection of ampoules, celine bottles, injection bottles, lyophilized powder injection bottles and pre-filled packaging samples.
